Disposal Of Christmas Trees

Christmas and holiday season is almost over. Most of us have been enjoying this special time of the year. Some of us have been even decorating our homes with Christmas trees. Disposal of Christmas trees is very important for fire safety as they could become a fire hazard. Dry branches and needles can pose a fire risk if they are not disposed of properly.

We have been informing the public for watering decorated Christmas trees frequently to prevent it from drying; however, it is crucial to know how to dispose of these trees properly. Dry trees can be highly combustible due to containing flammable oil. Because it is a high fire hazard, municipalities in the Greater Vancouver Area offers free disposal of Christmas trees. Please check below for more information regarding the disposal of your tree.

We are wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and happy new year.
